Having the Best Shower Rain Heads
Having the best shower rain heads is crucial to having a great shower experience. The rain heads should be easy to clean and maintain, and they should be able to provide you with the best water pressure. It is also important to choose the shower rain heads that are made from durable materials. This is important, since the shower heads are exposed to a lot of wear and tear.
Moen Attract
Purchasing a Moen Attract shower rain head will give you a luxurious shower experience. Infused with essential oils and spa-inspired fragrances, this shower will help you relax and rejuvenate.
It also comes with a detachable hand shower. Moen’s handheld shower head has a magnetic docking system, which makes it easy to hold and twist into position. It is also fairly affordable.
The shower head’s design is a good match for most bathroom fixtures. Its ultra-broad face gives a wide coverage area. The shower head is easy to use, and the rotary selector allows for different settings. It has a wide variety of spray patterns, and it is water-conserving with a 2.0 GPM flow rate.
Delta In2ition
Choosing a Delta In2ition Shower Head is a great way to achieve dual functionality. This product offers both a shower head and a detachable hand shower. This combination provides more coverage and flexibility.
The Delta In2ition Shower Head features an advanced spray engine that increases water pressure while increasing the number of water droplets per second. This increased water coverage gives a drenching shower experience. The clog-free nozzle will reduce your water usage. The nozzle also has a small range of movement so you can adjust the spray to your height.
Kohler Forte
Using the latest technology, Kohler Forte shower rain heads promise to deliver a satisfying shower. This high-pressure shower head offers big, full droplets of water that can aerate and massage sore muscles. It’s also environmentally friendly and California Energy Commission approved.
Kohler uses “Katalyst” air-induction technology to intensify water droplets and deliver powerful spray. It’s ideal for conserving water and lowering utility bills. Using Katalyst, two liters of air are infused into the shower head every minute, strengthening water pressure.
The Kohler Forte Shower Head comes in three different spray settings: full coverage, silk, and pummeling massage. The full coverage setting provides plenty of coverage for washing hair or rinsing off children’s soapy hands.

Frequently Asked Questions
How can I make my bathroom feel like Zen?
A bathroom should be a place of reflection and relaxation. After an exhausting day of work, this is where we relax. So why would anyone choose a space where they feel stressed out?
Bathrooms are places we can relax. When we shower, we wash away our stresses. We wash our hands and brush our teeth.
There are many ways to make a bathroom quiet and peaceful while still providing all the amenities.
For example, white paint on the walls makes a room seem brighter and cleaner. White also helps to reflect light making rooms appear larger.
A large mirror allows us to see how we look without turning around.
You can make your bathroom a peaceful place by adding candles. Candles can provide warmth and safety. Scented candles can increase feelings of calmness.
You can encourage peace and tranquility by adding plants to your bathroom. The benefits of plants include increased focus and stress reduction.
Lighting is an additional way to set the mood. You can create a warm environment by using lighting. Warm lights such as those from candlelight can create a peaceful environment.
Next time you go to the bathroom, take some time to unwind. This is the only area where you can completely disconnect from the outside world.
What color is the best in a bath?
There is no definitive answer to this question. Different people have different tastes, so what might look great in one bathroom may not work in another. Some of the most preferred colors for bathrooms are light blue, white, and pale yellow. These colours create a calming and serene atmosphere often desired in a bathroom. It is up to each individual to choose the right colour for their bathroom.
White is the most common choice for a bathroom because it makes the room appear larger and more brighter. It is also a versatile colour that can be easily paired with other colours and decor. Because it is warm and inviting, cream is another popular choice. Because it promotes relaxation, light blue is often used for bathrooms. It can also give the space a spa-like feeling. A bathroom with a pale green color is a good choice. It has a soothing effect and can create a relaxing atmosphere. Ultimately, the best bathroom colour is the one that makes the individual feel most comfortable and relaxed.
What bathroom finishes are in style?
The matte-black finish was a popular choice in 2022. This trend will continue into 2023. Bronze and brushed brass will also be in fashion in 2023. These finishes can add luxury to any bathroom.
When designing a bathroom, bathroom finishes are often overlooked. Bathroom finishes should be planned and considered carefully from the beginning. They have a huge impact on how the room feels and looks. They play a vital role in creating a tranquil and serene atmosphere.
You must also think about the materials that you use in your bathroom. A classic white tiled bathroom floor might be paired with a wooden bathtub and vanity unit. Perhaps you prefer a different color scheme such as black and/or a completely contrasting one. Whatever you decide, make sure it works for you and fits into the overall design of the rest of the house.
Bathroom finishes don’t necessarily have to be expensive. Any bathroom can be transformed with a simple coat of paint.
Are mosaic tiles good for modern bathrooms
If you’re using mosaic tiles in modern designs, it would be best to avoid them. They can make your bathroom look old and chaotic. If you love the look of mosaic tiles, try using them as accents around your sink, bathtub or shower.
How can I make my bathroom more modern in 2023?
It is important to first understand your bathroom needs.
What features do you really need and what are your priorities? Which features are most important to you?
Next, start looking for products that meet your needs.
It’s possible to not find exactly the item you want, but there are many options.
Here’s a list to help you think:
Size – How big are your bathrooms? Are there any modifications that you will need to make to accommodate new fixtures and appliances?
Style – What is your preferred style? Contemporary, traditional, etc.? Style – Bathrooms are available in many styles: transitional, traditional, and modern. The traditional style features natural stone floors and has been around since Victorian times. Modern bathrooms have sleek lines and glass finishes. They also feature open-plan layouts. Transitional designs incorporate elements of both traditional style and modern design.
Layout – Some people prefer smaller spaces while others love more space. How do want your bathroom to look?
Colour scheme – What are your preferred colors for the bathroom?
Lighting – How bright do you need it? And where is it coming from?
Storage – Do I need more storage space for my bathroom? Are you able to store enough? Is there a way to increase storage space?
Ventilation-Is your bathroom properly ventilated?
Features – You should also consider the number of features you’d like to include in your new bathroom. Would you prefer a heated towel rod or a steam bath? Would you prefer a Jacuzzi, or a spa bathtub? Do you want a separate tub and shower, or a combination of both?
Budget – Finally, you should consider how much you can afford. This will help you narrow your choices and ensure you don’t overspend.
Warranty – You should verify whether any manufacturer offers a guarantee on the product. It means that they offer a guarantee that their products will function properly for a specific period.
Once you have a clear understanding of your needs, you can start to look at products. You can browse online, in magazines, and in stores. When you find the item you love, compare prices. Read reviews before you make a purchase.
How do you remodel an outdated bathroom?
In today’s world, most bathroom renovations require little more than a fresh coat of paint and a few new fixtures. Sometimes, though, these updates don’t suffice.
This is where a bathroom renovation could be beneficial. This is especially true in homes built before 1980 where the plumbing system can cause leakage and water damage.
While a complete renovation may seem overwhelming, it doesn’t have to be. You can easily transform your space with some planning and preparation. Here’s how to tackle an enormous project.
A plan is the first step. Whether you hire professionals or handle the entire job yourself, having a clear vision of your goals is essential.
It’s also important to decide whether you prefer to renovate existing spaces, or to create a completely new layout. To ensure proper drainage, if you decide to go with the latter you’ll probably need to tear down walls.
After you have decided on the direction you want to go, create rough floor plans and measure every room.
Next, decide on a colour scheme. While neutral colors such as black and gray are popular choices, these won’t suit every home. Instead, look for colours that complement your existing decor. Consider adding warm shades such as orange, yellow or gold to your house if it has lots of wood.
While it can be hard to pick a color palette, it’s important to keep your options open. You should allow plenty of time for furniture, appliances, and accessories shopping.
Also, make sure to check the local building codes. There may be requirements to obtain permits depending on where you live. In certain cases, you might need to apply for a permit at your local city hall. If you’re not sure what code applies to you, call your local Building Inspection Division, or contact the Building Inspection Division, British Columbia.
You can get help from a reputable bathroom contractor to determine the best path of action. They will be able to advise you on what permits you need and help you navigate the process. And don’t forget to take advantage of tax deductions. Tax credit could be granted to those who make significant renovations, especially ones that are energy efficient.

How to change a shower head
Remove the old shower head
The first step in this shower head replacement project assumes that you know how to remove a shower head. To remove the old head, all you need to do is turn it counterclockwise a few times to see if you can remove it by hand.
Clean the shower arm thoroughly
Since there is likely rust, lime and other debris left behind from your old shower head, use the rag to clean the arm inside and out. Not only will this clear the way for better pressure and cleaner shower water, but it will also make it easier to install your new shower head.
Wrap the shower arm with shower head tape
Locate the linear grooves, also called threads, at the end of the shower arm and place Teflon tape clockwise over them two or three times. With each pass, press the shower head tape firmly into the threads with your fingers so that you can see them through the tape.
Install the replacement showerhead
The steps involved in installing a shower head depend on the type of replacement shower head you choose. While a standard wall-mount showerhead is easy to install and replace, other types may require more work and professional installation. Below is an overview of how to install a showerhead for each type:
Standard wall mount. Wall-mounted shower heads are usually the least expensive and easiest to install, and can usually be attached by hand. Simply place the new head on the shower arm and turn it clockwise until it is firmly seated.
Top Mount. If you are replacing a top-mounted shower head with the same type, you can place it on the shower arm by hand. If you are installing such a head for the first time and have no experience with plumbing, you should ask a professional for help.
Hand shower. There are hand showers that can replace tub faucets and others that can replace an existing shower head. Usually, they are fairly easy to install. Connect the new shower head clockwise to the end of the shower arm, and then connect the end of the shower hose to the bracket. As always, check to see if the manufacturer provides additional instructions.
Sliding bar. An adjustable bar shower usually has a handheld shower head attached to a 60 cm bar on the wall with a flexible hose. In addition to connecting the shower head to the supply line, the bar must also be installed. As a rule, hollow wall plugs can facilitate this in a shower.
Shower panels or technology-enabled. Additional features and functions can make showering more enjoyable. However, installation becomes more involved with more complicated offerings. With shower panels and technology-enabled shower heads, it's best to read the manufacturer's instructions carefully and hire an experienced professional if you don't have experience with plumbing and electrical installations.

Designed for All: A Guide to Building an Accessible and Functional Disability Bathroom
A must-have in a disability bathroom is a wheelchair-accessible shower or bathtub, grab bars, a raised toilet, and a roll-under sink. It is also important to have adequate lighting and proper signage for direction and accessibility. Additionally, a fold-down shower seat, handheld shower head, and lever-style faucets can also be helpful for individuals with mobility challenges.
A wheelchair-accessible toilet:
This type of toilet and bath chair typically has a higher seat and more space around it to accommodate a person in a wheelchair. It is also known as a comfort height toilet, and has a height of 17-19 inches from floor to seat, compared to standard toilets which have a height of 15 inches. This allows for easier transfers for people who use wheelchairs or mobility aids.
Grab bars:
These bars, which can be installed near the toilet, shower, and bath, can provide extra support for people with mobility issues. They can be mounted horizontally or vertically and can be made of stainless steel, plastic, or other materials. They are designed to help people with disabilities maintain their balance.
A roll-in shower:
This type of shower is designed to be accessible for people in wheelchairs and can include features such as a built-in seat and a shower wand that can be reached from a seated position. It has a level entry with no threshold and a wide opening to allow for easy access for wheelchairs.
A hand-held showerhead:
This type of showerhead can be used by people who have difficulty standing for long periods and can be used while sitting down. It can be mounted on a slide bar, allowing it to be adjusted to the user's height, and can also come with a hose that is long enough to reach all parts of the shower or tub.
It is always good to consult with an occupational therapist or a professional designer to have a personalized and well-suited bathroom.

Skin care and bath Head Canons
A big thank you to @candyguns19xx who came up with some of the stuff.
Kelly wasn’t always good at self care, or skin care. He always thought it was girly and didn’t get it. Now he has a facialist in Beverly Hills, and a bathroom full of skin care products. He is also particular about what he puts in his hair now. In short, Kelly has a ton of products, and his skin and hair look better than ever.
The drugs, drinking, and partying did a number on his skin when he was younger. He was looking bad. Red puffy eyes, with dark circles. His skin was unhealthy, sickly pale, and dull. Now he is much healthier, and it shows, but repairing the damage he did takes time, care, and maintenance.
Kelly is now a regular at LUSH. He likes the products, and doesn’t feel guilty about buying them. He also shops at Celeste Rodigues, and uses other skin care products. Kelly’s basic skin care routine for the day was to use a nice face wash, a face toner, his day time moisturizer, sun block, and then chapstick. His night routine was similar but it was a nice face wash, a face toner, eye cream, any serum he felt like he might need for the night, and his night moisturiser.
Kelly does have a more extensive and involved routine but that routine is more for days he will be in makeup, has a long performance, or just feels like he needs it.
He has lotions, and moisturizers for every part of his body. Most days he just uses his face moisturizers, body lotion, hand cream, and foot lotion. He loves Lush’s lotions, but their face moisturizers are too oily for him. He has basically set up a spa in his bathroom with all the skin products he has. (he has a spa day at least once a month. Rook and Slim sometimes join him.) All of his stuff is organized by what it is used for, what it is/does, and then by scent. So his bath bombs are by his bubble bars, and his lotions are divided by what body part they are for, and so on.
Kelly loves a wide array of scents, it is usually his mood, and plans that decide which fragrance he uses. He loves the sour bite of citrus, and the clean feeling they give, but he also enjoys the saccharin smell of strawberries, other sweet fruits, and candy scents. On days when he wants to curl up and be soft scents with hints of honey, milk, coffee, and other comforting scents a what he uses.
Em on the other hand, uses a 3 in 1 body wash, and uses body lotion for everything. He Knows what LUSH is because of his daughters, but this has also colored his perception of the store as being for women. ‘What guy over the age of 6 takes baths?’ is Em’s line of thinking because he has an amazing bathroom. He has a shower that has jets on all sides, a rainfall feature, the handheld shower head, and can comfortably fit 6 people. A large bench, and little shelves built in, make his shower a dream. Em also has a massive tub that someone Kelly’s height can stretch out in, and the water jets make it feel like a jacuzzi.
Kelly is mortified that he uses 3-in-1 body wash, and teaches Em about basic skin care. Em also learns how nice, relaxing, and sexy baths can be. It should be a crime to waste a tub like that.
Em loves Kells' skin. It’s so soft, and he always smells nice. One time when they first started dating, he smelled like milk and Honey and Em absolutely loved it. He also loves it when the blond wears one of his rose perfumes. They smell damn good.
Em loves the perfumes Kelly gets him for LUSH. He really likes Smugglers Soul and Dirty, but the fact that his boyfriend gave him Breath of God makes him both laugh and feel insanely smug.
He also likes it when his boyfriend wears the rose scents. It drives Em crazy, in a good way. Kelly takes to wearing Road From Damascus, Lust, and Love more and more.
Em starts reading up on soaps, bath supplies, and general skin care so he can buy more for Kelly, (and himself). Em rearranges his bathroom to fit everything he bought. The next time Kelly visits he is surprised, and absolutely loves it, especially the bath selection. After checking everything out, and giving Em thank you kisses, he grabs a pink strawberry bath bomb, and a champagne bubble bar and starts to undress. Em watches, enjoying the view.
Relaxing in the tub just enjoying each other’s company is what they both love. That does mean after a while hands don’t start to wander. Kelly can hold his breath for a surprising long time. Em learned this the first time he gave in and joined Kells in the tub.
Bath time is now either for playing or for aftercare. Sometimes after a really intense scene one of them will run them a bath for the other.
Paul questions Em, if he has a new hook up because he certainly doesn’t believe Em bought all this for himself. He has seen the credit card statement and has to call Em to make sure everything is okay.
Em is watching Kelly enjoy a citrus scented bubble bar tonight; it’s like a peep show but with bubbles. Em loves how happy a bath makes Kelly and while he doesn't understand all of it, he still joins Kelly in the tub.
Marshall is on the phone with Paul while he’s getting ready to join Colson in the tub. “Yes paul, everything is fine.”
“You sure, because you don’t usually spend that much, and I’ve never seen you use any of that stuff you bought. Is some groupie black mailing you or something?”
Em rolls his eyes. “Of course not. Look I’ll call you back later.” He hangs up, and finishes getting undressed.
“Something wrong?” Colson asks once Marshall is sliding behind the blond.
“No not really.” He gently blows at the bubbles on Colson’s chest, making the blonde giggle.
“Okay.” Kelly leans against his boyfriend's chest, making himself more comfortable, and just enjoying his bath with Marshall. The older man wraps his arms loosely around Colson’s stomach, shifting to accommodate the blond giant between his legs. They could mess around later Marshall decides, right now all he wanted to do was spend some time with his boyfriend.

Unsteady Barry x Reader
Warning: so blood, war, guns, cursing, panic attack if any of this will trigger you then I suggest not reading.
Part 2
I griped the edges of the sink and stared into the mirror that was clouded from the steam, the bathroom was warm still from the from the bathroom heater and the hot shower I just took. I splashed my face with water and when I looked back up I wasn't looking at the mirror anymore. I was sitting in the gunners hatch of the Humvee on our route clearance mission. "Hey Y/L/n" I heard my Sergeants voice over the roar of the engine, "yes sar'nt" I ducked down into the humvee to hear him better. "Anderson's sick from chow last night and want to trade and take his dismount mission with the guys?" I looked at Anderson then back at my NCO and nodded. I slid my harness off and switched spots with Anderson, and began reading the mission brief notes he had taking. For the dismount mission we were going to be walking 2 miles ahead of the convoy clearing with handheld mine detectors. We were looking out for both command wires and IEDs, I was going to me walking behind Roger's who was going to be walking with the PSS-14 mine detector.
The humvee slowly stopped and I opened my door doing my 5-10-15making sure there was nothing on the ground before getting out. I walked to the truck behind me and placing my hand on Roger's shoulder. He smiled and we all got in formation, the walk was slow as we cleared out was towards the village. Roger stopped abruptly and I turned my head "all stop" I whispered to Mendez who was behind me, he repeated it down the line and I walked closer to Roger. "What's up?" He looked at me nervously, "listen" I took the ear piece from him and he moved the mine detector forward. It pinged something and I nodded "ok... mark it and go around... dude relax we trained for this." I patted his shoulder and gave him space he took a few minutes to mark the mine and make a path around it. Mendez radioed up what was going on and we moved on.
We were about 100 yards from the village when Roger called an all stop again and began marking. I walked closer to make sure he was ok and thats when I heard the pop. Seconds later Roger's head drops back and he falls down, I felt a burning in my arm but I ignored it. "CONTACT 12" I yelled and everyone dropped, I started shooting back towards the building and a man fell from the roof followed by a rifle. I crawled up to Roger and and grabbed his IOTV pulling his lifeless body up. I threw him on my shoulder to fireman carry him and I called out to Mendez. Mendez ran up crabbing the PSS-14 and we ran back towards the Vehicles. We put Roger's in the medics vehicle as to protocol and got back inside the trucks to head back to base.
"Fuck fuck fuck fuck FUCK!" I punch the side of the humvee and screamed Mendez put his hand on my shoulder. "Theres nothing you could've done" I turned and squeezed now tender hand and began pacing. "He was just a kid Mendez.... I was supposed to be pulling security but I wasnt. I could've seen the sniper before he took the shot." I pulled my gloves off and threw then down. Mendez grabbed my shoulders then cringed letting me go "Y/L/n hey go shower and change....your covered in blood." I wince and grabbed my arm. The adrenaline had subsided and the pain was becoming more prevalent. I walked into the bay and pulled off my gear letting it fall to the ground, Mendez helped me slide my OCP top off leaving me in my green under shirt.
"Shit I'll get a medic." Mendez took off and I sighed sitting on the bench, the bullet had gone through Roger and lodged itself in my bicep. Moments later Kinley our medic came running up with Mendez on her heels. I lifted my sleeve out of the way so she could see it better and she sighed. "Theres no exit wound so the bullet is still in there I need you to come to the medic bay" I nodded and grabbed my too following Kinley.
~~~~
I tugged my sleeve down over the scar on my bicep and grabbed my bag, Dr. Dressa had sighed me up for an acting class to try and socialize me more and help me acclimate to civilian life. I walked drove to the building and sighed getting out of my car. As I was waking up to a building there was a blonde telling off some guy who looked clueless. "I was gonna ask if this is the acting class but considering the drama I'm guessing it is." I said chuckling as I walked up next to the man. He looked at me and nodded "you new?" I shrugged "yep don't necessarily want to be here though" I followed him inside and he furrowed his brows "then why are you here" I sat on one of the chairs and leaned back.
"My Doctor thinks it will help me come back to the real world." He nodded "what branch were you in?" I looked at him surprised he knew what I ment "uh Army... I was a Combat Engineer" he nods and looks at me with a half smile "I was in the Marines." I smiled "Ever deploy?" I asked looking down at my hands. "Yup did you?" He looked at me and I nodded "yuuuup.I'm Y/n by the way..." He stood up and put his hand on my shoulder "Barry... and uh you'll like the class" I looked up at him and faked a smile. "Thanks" he walked away and I stood up looking around. Mr. Cousineau walked in and looked at me "who are you?" I grabbed a paper from my bag and walked up to him "uh hi... I'm Y/n Doctor Dressa signed me up she said she emailed you and uh heres a written form from her." He took the paper and nodded pointing to the chairs.
He started talking about the Macbeth play they were going to preform, I wasnt paying attention when someone kicked my chair. I blinked a few times and looked at Gene who was staring at me, "ok I'll as again. Doctor Dressa told me she had you prepare a monologue. You have to perform one to get into my class." I stood up and pulled my sleeve down subconsciously. "Uh yeah I'm thought the last speech from uh Blackhawk Down." I he nodded and pointed to the stage, I nodded walking forward. "There's still men out there...... Goddam!... when I go home and people ask me 'hey hoot. Why do ya do it man? Why? You some kind of war junkie?' I won't say a goddam word. Why? They wont understand. They wont understand why we do it. They wont understand it's about the men next to you. And that's it, that's all it is"
I blinked and the image of Roger falling to the ground flashed in my head, I tried to push it back but it was to late. I stood there in horror at my ears started ringing and I was back in Afghanistan, the truck had hit an IED and it damaged the driver side of the vehicle. I was gunner on the mission since I refused to go dismounted again after Roger died, something hit my leg and I screamed in pain. I ducked into the humvee and looked at the driver who was leaned forward on the steering wheel bleeding. Then a gun shot and the body was falling off the roof and I was lifting Roger to carry him back.
I started breathing heavily as my PTSD hit me like a car speeding towards a brick wall. I started shaking, I looked for an escape and ran into the dressing room. I started pacing and repeatedly ran my hands through my hair, I heard footsteps but I ignored them. "Hey you ok" I recognized Barry's voice but it was foggy as the voice of Roger played through my mind. "You alright" he asked again. "He was a fucking kid" I stopped infront of the wall clenching my fists and squeezing my eyes shut. "When we get back home I'm gonna purpose to my girl" his voice echoed in my head and I punched the wall. "He was a kid.." I put my back to the wall and slid down "a fucking kid" I hid my face in my knees and cried, I felt a hand on my shoulder. I looked up from my knees and seen Barry sitting infront of me "I could've saved him I could stopped the sniper.... I should've done my job" he gulped and looked down. He chewed his lip and I sighed, "sorry." He looked up and shook his head "don't be its perfectly fine to have PTSD from deployment." I nodded.
"I haven't had an attack like this since the day I got back to the states..." I hugged my knees resting my chin on them. "Want to talk about it?" I looked at him and shook my head "not really" he nodded and stood up holding out his hand, I took his hand standing up "how about we go get some drinks instead" I smiled at him and nodded "yeah I'm down" I wiped my eyes and walked out to my car Barry walked next to me with his hands in his pockets. "You wanna ride with me or uh want me to follow you?" I asked pulling my keys out of my pocket, "I uh I can ride with you if you dont mind" I smiled and unlocked the car and we both got in.
We didnt talk on the way to the bar but I could tell there was something burdening him. The way he sat staring out the side window with his hands on his lap, palms flush against his thighs. When we arrived at the bar we ordered a round of shots and a beer, he got up to go to the restroom leaving his phone on the bar next to me. I took a drink of my beer and looked at his phone as it lit up and started buzzing. Noho Hank.... weird name... I thought about answering the phone for him but before I had the chance to give it a second thought he came up behind me grabbing his phone. He sighed loudly and put the phone to his ear walking away from me.
When he came back he plopped down on the chair and taking a drink of his beer, "everything ok?" I looked over at him "yeah I'm fine just work stuff" he mumbled almost inaudible. I nodded and ordered two more shots, "here cheers to the military we, the willing, led by the unknowing, are doing the impossible for the ungrateful. We have now done so much for so long with so little, we are now capable of doing anything with nothing." We clinked glasses then brought them back down tapping the bar before taking the shot.
He pulled out a 50 and payed our tab, which I thanked him for repeatedly. We walked outside and the cold air hit me causing a shiver to run through my body. I fished my keys out of my pocket and quickly got into the car, Barry sat down in the passenger seat and buckled up. "Hey you wanna get breakfast tomorrow?" He looked at me and I smiled "yeah... I'd love to" he smiled and nodded. "Here put your number in my phone and I can text you my address" I handed him my phone as I drove back to the theater to take him to his car.
I parked my car behind his and turned to him "thanks for hanging out with me. It may not seem like it but I had a lot of fun." He nodded as I spoke and unbuckled his seatbelt. "Yeah me too. I'll uh... I'll see you tomorrow morning."
Little things in life matter a lot. In fact, you will be surprised how a slight change in any certain thing can affect all of your moods. We take showers every day at least once and often more than once. If the 15-20 minutes spent in taking a shower is as relaxing as possible, can you imagine how much it will make our attitude more positive and us jollier?
When the water pressure or temperature does not fulfill our expectations, we do not get the comfort or refreshment we were seeking. Therefore, we cannot control the most basic task of life so how can we control the big tasks? In order to make your shower the only positive thing on a bad day for you, we are here to introduce you to the best shower system features with 5 of the best shower systems reviews.
The 5 Best Shower Systems Reviews Buying Guide
Here’s a buying guide that will help you narrow down your choices to the best shower systems:
Showerhead
The most important component of a shower system is definitely the showerhead. Apart from checking the quality of the materials used, you should find out which style of shower head you prefer. Would you like a showerhead that’s fixed and mounted on the wall or would you like a more flexible handheld shower? If it’s a fixed showerhead you prefer, make sure the height it's installed in is convenient for everyone.
In contrast, if you want a handheld shower, the length of the hose, the flexibility are important factors to consider. However, a handheld shower is a much better option as it is suitable for people with physical disabilities and also very handy when cleaning anything thoroughly.
Water Pressure And Flow
If you want to reduce your water bill and increase environment conservation, you can go for water-saving showerheads that have relatively low water flow to save water. Even if you don’t check the water flow of the showerhead as in case of shortcomings, you will feel dissatisfied with low water flow during a shower.
Temperature And Flow Control Handles Or Valves
Whether you want a single-handled shower system or dual handled shower system is completely up to you. With the dual handling systems, you can control flow and temperature through separate valves. In case of a single-handled shower system, a thermostatic temperature control system will go a long way.
Ease Of Installation
You definitely do not want to buy a shower system that does not even meet your plumbing requirements. Therefore, firstly look for systems that are compatible with your plumbing style. Then, choose the ones that are very easy to install. Check out the drains as well.
Hitori-Escape Tour 2019 concert reports 14-18
1-9
10-13
14 Hitorie’s Hitori-Escape Tour, 11/10/2019 at Takamatsu DIME Takamatsu prefecture
●The road was flocked with cosplayers on their way to the venue. Yuma recognized the Azur Lane cosplays, while SND recognized the Street Fighter and the Touhou. “Like Reimu and Youmu~” Yuma was face to face with a Miku across the street while waiting at a crosswalk, which amused him also..
SND “Hey! Was anyone in the crowd here who was out there cosplaying today, raise your hand! Come on be honest, tell sensei. Everybody close your eyes so you can’t judge each other, so only sensei can see c’mon.” Yuma “There’s people still opening their eyes lol.”
●Takamatsu really is full of events. There was a strange pungent smell eating away at Yu until he sought out the origin. It was a cheese event going on right nearby. “These sort of things bother you until you find! Once you find the origin then it stops smelling, it’s an enigma.” ●A cat was spotted caught up in the cosplayer crowd too, which SND found adorable.
Yuma “I’m a dog lover and… I don’t really get the feelings of cats!! If you annoy a dog then you’re their enemy for the rest of the day but, with cats they’ll only hate you on the spur of a moment, based on mood. Yet then you spend the rest of the day depressed...!”
SND brings the flow of the conversation over to yga’s (cat-like) feelings, where Yumao dubs him the “Expressionless emo”. Yuma “He’s stoic but, mid-show he will turn around and smile at me! Sometimes he’ll be saying something too but, because it’s indecipherable I’ll just do my best to convey ‘Uhh, that seems good!!’ to him.” SND “... He looks at me a lot too but he never smiles.” Yu “Well cause the crowd could see his face then, but when he's turned around the crowd can’t see him!”
●SND “Well then. Umm.. It's uh… today...” *Unable to piece anything together while yga stares at him stifled and raring to go* “Ummm..” ygarsh >>*BWOON*<< SND tweet "Takamatsu concert: complete, Takamatsu is the greatest place every time I come, I’m happy I got to perform in a city I love. Thank you, we’ll probs be back. Tomorrow we’ll be in Osaka y'hear"
15 Hitorie’s Hitori-Escape Tour, 11/11/2019 at Takamatsu DIME in Takamatsu prefecture
●During the handheld mic song SND went over to yg’s side and wrapped his arm around yg’s shoulders. Contrary to yesterday’s slip and slide yg did to dodge him—
●SND was late getting to the venue, due to countless self-destructive forces at bay. Yumao joked that he’s truly living the rockstar life. Truly a ‘rock musician’. At first he questioned “Sensei~ Were you busy drawing your manga~?” Because SND is an artistic person, and artist’s concept of time tends to be wonky. “Both of my parents are artists so I know this well,” he said..! SND “I drank for 12 hours straight... Until 10 AM... When the meet-up was at 12. I just had to group up with the crew to get all our gear together and hop in the car to drive down, so I told myself I would nap for 1 hour, then wake up, take a shower, get ready and go... But I ended up sleeping overtime. When I woke up even a miracle wouldn’t be able to get me there on time. So I called manager-san and told her the situation”.
Yumao “I didn’t care if manager-san gets angry at you~!” Though manager didn’t get angry at SND, she just made sure he had everything and could play okay. SND “Though I lied and said I had some stuff ready when I didn’t... Why is it that we tell useless lies when we’re scared of getting in trouble.”
FInally in the car driving there, SND reeked of alcohol.. Yumao tells the story of how yga, in the backseat, burst out saying “This smell... It isn’t beer.. It’s... Highball. This is Kakubin, Highball whisky.. The beer was Kinmugi.. So... Torikizoku (the name of a bar chain).” Actually hitting the mark on what SND drank yesterday. SND “WTF.”
ygarshy is now the self-proclaimed ‘Highball detective’. ●Back to the show....! SND “Everybody it’s 11/11, what does that mean!“ Crowd “It’s bass day!” SND “Well then ygarshy, do your thing!” yga *>>BWOON<<*
The date 1111 resembles the 4 bass strings, thus the excuse for celebration! ygarshy also did a seminar for a bass week if that may pique your interest..: Here. SND tweet "Osaka concert: complete, thank you kindly. I'll see y'all next week then."
16 Hitorie’s Hitori-Escape Tour, 11/14/2019 at LIQUIDROOM in Tokyo prefecture
I’ll make a separate special post including all of Nishimaki’s photos etc., but for now it’s all mostly on my twitter... https://twitter.com/boat_manju/status/1195265416249139200
17 Hitorie’s Hitori-Escape Tour, 11/17/2019 at SPADE BOX in Nagoya prefecture
To dodge redundancy I’ll omit some of the happenings, as they reflected on the tour again and many topics were recycled from Tokyo. MC time! ●Yumao picked on SND again for saying “I have to sing and haven’t played a show in a forever unlike you hustlers, I have it a million times worse than you guys, I’m on a different level~~.” back when he was nervous on the first day of the tour. Yu “But... didn’t you once sing in a SOPHIA cover band?”
SND “We only were up for like 30 minutes, and we did just a bunch of L'Arc 〜en 〜Ciel or LUNA SEA or Visual kei kinda stuff.” Yu “Visual kei.. did you wear makeup!?” SND *laughs it off* “I pretended to be Mitsuru Matsuoka for 2 shows and that was the end of it.…“ ●When they were at the vacation cottage watching historical drama on TV... Despite yg seemingly not-watching and playing bass, to their surprise after he told them “That was funny”. SND “yga never stops practicing huh” Yu “I could never watch TV and play drums." SND “Guitar might work huh.” Yu “Last show I had told everybody to feel free to ask me on Twitter about how to use the mobile battery we’re selling as merch, and someone did!” SND "I questioned how many interactions he got and.. It was a whopping one. One! *laughing*” Yu “They even told me ‘I can’t believe you replied!’” ●SND story time. He talked about how he first came to this city of Nagoya back when he was 17 or 18. He was born in Ishikawa prefecture and he passed the regional teem music tournament there, so he came for the south-east coast tournament. It was only his voice and acoustic guitar up on the loft, and he went home with no prizes but. After some thought he realized that was the beginning of his music career. What he felt up on that stage is still burned into his mind, and has kept him going all this. So being back in Nagoya, singing up on stage, feels like fate. “Our journey is ending for now but, we’ll be back. As long as we’re alive, we’ll be back.” And he sounds like Leader at the end.. Leader would say that..
●SND “It’s time ygarshy-kun! The Kirin Challenge Cup, it was Columbia VS Japan right, give us a comment on Japan’s smashing defeat of 0:2!” yg *>>>angry BWOOON<<<* SND tweet “Nagoya concert complete, thank you. We performed footloose and enthusiastic, I hope nobody got hurt. See ya next time.”
18 Hitorie’s Hitori-Escape Tour, 11/18/2019 at Umeda Club Quattro in Osaka prefecture
The finale! Ahh the 18th show. What a long journey, but somehow it felt short.
●Yu “This show was an add-on, so it sorta feels like a bonus stage y’know. Normally I put a lot of attention into keeping my performance, my feelings as flat and stable as possible but, today.. I just scattered emo around.” SND “I feel ya haha.” Yu “Concerts are tricky!”
●SND “When we’re traveling the country, we see people smiling, people crying, people who have a face like they have no idea what to do with themselves, there’s just… so many different people, and every one is so beautiful. Every time a show ended I would go name-searching on the internet because I wanted to know what everybody thought, and just. Seriously, thank you. Thank you for mustering up the courage to come see us. With 18 concerts on our backs, we managed to shape this into something real. We’ve come so far and— Yuma, pops in like he’s feeling embarrassed or nervous or something, “Uhmm-” SND “Oi….!?” *collapses to the floor* “C’mooon I was just in the middle of something!!!”
Yuma “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to butt in-“
SND “It’s fine hahaha You’re always like this, I’m used to it hahahaaa” SND *on the verge of tears*→ Yumao *does his Yumao thing*→ Everyone :') ●
Yuma “After all this time we figured out the trick to ygarshy too, even though he’s always stoic, right! But when he’s doing something bad or bullying, he has a HUGE smile! Especially when he’s bullying Shinoda, he’ll grin from ear to ear.” SND “Piece of shit I won’t forget what you’ve done to me. This bastard smiles the most when he’s the assailant”. yga *Takes out his camera and begins to record SND*
Yu “See, he has fun in his own way!”
*Records Yumao twice, Yumao poses with both hands making the peace sign*
*Records the crowd* Yu “SND and I are always chatting it up about something right, but sometimes an hour or so later after we talk, yg will come over to me when I’m alone and tell me his opinion. ‘I think this I think that. ygarshy: “18 concerts. Thank you for mustering up the courage to come all the way out and see us. Being able to perform Hitorie’s music up on stage, was my pride and joy yet again today."
SND: “Thank you.”
Rie’s manager: “Thanks. I’m so proud of them.”
Yumao: Really by virtue of every one who came were we able to marathon this tour.
I was on the same page as you when this started: totally unsure of how to present myself for these concerts. But halfway through somewhere I started to have fun, the number of smiles increased, and now that it’s over I feel like I lost something, the burdens and something special both.
I’m bad with expressing myself in text so this is all I’ll say.
newfragile yellows [358]
Cullen sometimes thinks of sending back the weights Rylen gave him when he retired back, or donating them to some youth center.
When one has to bathe a very large - possibly half-mountain lion - cat on a monthly basis it seems to remove the need for weight training.
It would be nice if Bull’s bulk was just fur, it isn’t. And hefting Bull’s considerable weight up and bringing him into the bathroom, locking them both in, and depositing him into the tub, is a work out all on its own.
It doesn’t help that Cullen has to do some very noticeable prep-work first. Like removing the shower curtain. And making sure there aren’t anything on the counter tops and tying all the cabinets closed and locking up the toilet paper and paper towels and also putting his own towels in a separate room and moving all of his bathing supplies elsewhere.
It’s just Bull, Cullen, a copious amount of towels, and Ellana who always manages to sneak in winding through Cullen’s legs as she attempts to save her best friend, companion, and love of her nine lives.
Cullen may be romanticizing his cats, but the way that Ellana’s paws dig into the back of his shirt and the way she meows in protest as Bull tries to wrestle, sneak, bully, force, and plead his way out of it even as it’s happening gives him plenty of material to be building on.
His bathroom is always a downright mess afterwards, but Bull doesn’t fit in any of the sinks and if Cullen did this on the porch or in the back yard using the big tub he uses to wash Blackwall Bull would be able to escape for weeks. Cullen knows this from experience.
Best to keep the damage contained. At least Cullen knows no one’s escaping - dignity intact or no.
Bull is a remarkably well behaved cat, except for baths. He’s even good at the vet.
He just doesn’t like taking a bath.
Oh, he’s very good with water. He just doesn’t like the rest of it. The shampooing and the drying and the manhandling and all.
To this effect Bull and his twenty something pounds of fur and muscle cling to Cullen like a very large infant - Cullen can hear the rips as Bull’s claws cling to his shirt - as Cullen tries to awkwardly lower him into the one inch of water in the tub.
“Come on,” Cullen says, “It’ll be over so quick. You’re only making it worse.”
Bull lets out a low and unhappy meow as he attempts to climb back out of the water. Cullen lifts his front paws up and holds them in one hand as he quickly grabs the handheld shower head in the other.
Once the process starts Bull is mostly behaved. There are always the surprises when Cullen lets his guard down, but Cullen likes to think he’s gotten better at it. And unless Bull’s gotten thumbs he’s not getting the bathroom door unlocked and opened.
Even wet the Iron Bull’s figure is rather intimidating. There’s a lot of fur, and there’s a lot of bulky cat underneath. He somehow looks even bigger wet.
The cat sulkily paws at the rim of the tub, “Mrow.”
“Well how else am I supposed to make sure you don’t have anything?” Cullen says, “And you’re starting to smell.”
“Mirau,” Bull grumbles in protest, attempting to stand up and Cullen quickly pushes him back down. “Mirowww!”
“No,” Cullen says, firmly holding down on Bull’s back as he lathers up on his sides, “You’re staying put. You’re going to feel so much better when this is over and we won’t speak of it until next month.”
Ellana keeps batting at his back and arms and peering over the tub edge and looking very sadly at Bull as the larger cat sulks about his lot in life.
Little does she know - because somehow she’s never caught on that she’s next.
Cullen hauls Bull up out of the tub, sitting on the toilet as he swaddles his probably a mountain lion cat and gets to work trying to simultaneously hold Bull without Bull escaping, plug in the hairdryer, and push Ellana away with his foot.
Ellana bristles and shoves herself behind the toilet when the hair dryer turns on - which he only bought for his cat - and starts the very long process of getting Bull back up to his regular fluffy self. And as he is reminded every month, as intimidating as Bull is fluffy, he’s much more horrific wet.
“Alright,” Cullen says, letting Bull drop down onto the floor, shaking himself and licking his paws, “Now. The real trial begins.”
Cullen puts the hair dryer away and starts trying to fish Ellana out from behind the toilet. Now that the loud devil machine isn’t around Ellana comes easily, happily cozying up in Cullen’s arms.
Cullen almost hates to do this to her.
He gently puts her into the bath tub.
Ellana looks up at him with big confused eyes, “Mew?”
Her paws cling to his shirt as he gets the hand held.
“Mew?” Ellana tries to climb up but the sides are slippery and she is significantly smaller than the tub, especially when Cullen puts one hand on the back of her neck and holds her still.
And then he turns the water on and Ellana wails.
“Mirau!” Ellana stretches out, trying to slip, slink, slide, and slither her way out of the tub like she’s a snake instead of a cat. Cullen almost drops the shower head three times as he does some quick cat juggling to hold Ellana in place.
Bull’s motor engine of a purr starts up and Cullen feels Bull’s tail swish against his back.
No doubt Bull’s gotten up onto the toilet seat to watch the proceedings.
Ellana keeps stretching out, the sound of her claws clattering against the sides of the tub and tiles, “Maaau! Mi! Mi! Mrau!”
Her paws spread out comically as she tries to grasp for purchase to escape but Cullen’s got her on lock down.
It takes longer to get Ellana washed, despite her being much smaller in size and with less fur, but it’s because he keeps losing her like a bar of soap and the pitiful way she mews almost gets to his heart.
Cullen feels like he’s actually sweating as he finally picks Ellana up and carefully squeezes her paws and legs and tail to get rid of excess water before swaddling her.
“Off,” Cullen says and Bull lazily gets up onto the counter to watch as Cullen gets the hair dryer and sits down on the toilet again.
Ellana’s struggles renew as Cullen turns the hairdryer on again.
“You’ll forgive me within the hour,” Cullen says, “And you’ll forget all about this until the next time and you’ll forgive me then too.”
